History

LMD was founded in 1999 by a group of scientists involved in research and development of molecules from natural sources.
Major European venture capital funds were invested early in LMD’s history allowing the company to develop a rich pipeline of products and lead molecules applicable to the pharmaceutical field as well as cosmetics and functional foods.
LMD is directed by President Lucie THOMAZO. Dr Léon CARIEL is now Vice President.
